About Us
A team of advisors chosen for the expertise you need
At U.S. Trust, our goal is to structure a wealth management
relationship that reflects the many ways in which your personal and financial lives intersect. We listen
carefully, analyze thoroughly and assemble your wealth advisory team — skilled professionals who deliver
proactive advice, anticipate challenges and maximize opportunities.
A proactive advisory relationship
Your life is dynamic and evolving. To be effective, your
financial strategies must keep pace. Working to align strategies with your opportunities and
circumstances is the role of your wealth advisory team. This team works together, analyzing
information, sharing ideas and ensuring that each solution and recommendation we present to you is
consistent with your overall strategy and U.S. Trust relationship.
Your wealth advisory team is led by a private client advisor
and may include a portfolio manager, private client manager, wealth strategist and/or advisors in the
areas of credit, trusts and philanthropy. Supporting them are specialists in the technical aspects of a
broad range of financial disciplines. Your team will meet regularly to review your relationship and
propose solutions that allow you to capitalize on emerging opportunities and avoid unexpected risks.
Together, they work to anticipate changes in your needs in light of developments in financial markets,
shifts in the legal and regulatory landscape and our knowledge of your evolving goals, family situation
and needs.
Working closely with your other advisors
Your wealth advisory team works closely with your own
attorneys, accountants and other advisors to create and implement solutions that are individually
tailored and uniquely effective. Together, your advisors develop a strategy to help you build, preserve,
enjoy and transfer your wealth.
